GEOCACHERS OF NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS

GONIL is a not-for-profit recreational organization, formed to promote and protect the family-oriented activity of Geocaching in Northeastern Illinois, through education, cooperation between geocachers and land managers, and FUN!

GONIL is comprised of geocachers who live and/or
cache in the following 12 Northeast Illinois counties:
Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane,
Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Will and Winnebago.

The GONIL Cache of the Month

Congratulations to DMNelson23 for your cache Xyval's Puzzling 1000th for being the June 2009 Cache of the Month. Congratulations to CoyoteTrust for Soldier's Story being the
2008 GONIL Cache of the Year.


GONIL is proud to be a partner with the Museum of Science and Industry's Science Chicago program Science Saturdays. Once a month a group from GONIL teaches people of all ages about Geocaching. These events take place all throughout the Chicagoland area. Check out Science Chicago's website for more details. The dates for these events are as follows but are subject to change.

July 18th - Busse Wods
