Seen a listing for this on another caching site. I know there are some of us that like to play around with lots of gadgets. Software to load your PQs onto you Ipod and use it for paperless caching.  Its free too!

Just buy a Colorado and all you need is one peice of equipment. Rolling Eyes Plus then you can use the ipod for listening to the sweet sounds of nature, as you are lifting that LPS. Laughing whistle

There are tools for paperless caching even without the need for batteries or electricity.

And as the one who usually gets nominated to carry the loads, I can attest to that too...   whistle

As a Colorado owner, I can tell you they are not perfect.  Last weekend I did two different earthcaches up in WI, that had it not been for our PDA's we would not have had all the information we needed to log those caches.  It appears that the Colorado has a limit to the length of a cache description which it can hold/display, and those two caches exceeded that limit...  I had seen this once before in CacheMate (both Palm and PocketPC versions) on a more local cache, but an updated CacheMate fixed that for me there...

I still carry (and use) my PDA even though I use my Colorado for my caching GPSr...

I have also heard that the iPod software will limit the length of the description.

HTML output (either using GPX Spinner or GSAK) and Plucker will always give you the full description.

I hate to bring up an old thread but, I'm having fun messing with my kids Ipod. I have tried out the different methods of putting the cache info into the Ipod. The GSAK macro is the way to go.... In its own way its better than a Palm but harder to read.  The macro works around some of the Ipod limits.

Wow, the GSAK macro is great!  My only complaint is the block text without any paragraph separation.  A little tough to read at times, but this is a helluva lot better than printing (which i never even tried) or writing the text files yourself.  Thanx for the tip, peoples!   Very Happy

oh, my first post too.  Rolling Eyes
